Teen prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi demonstrated his power once again with a stunning century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26. Playing for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh in the Plate Group clash on Wednesday, December 24, he carried his solid form.

Batting first, Bihar posted a record-breaking total of 574/6 from their 50 overs. Suryavanshi set the tone for the madness with an unbelievable knock at the top. The 14-year-old smashed 190 runs off just 84 balls. His whirlwind knock included 16 fours and 15 sixes at a strike rate of 226.19.

Fans were left stunned and in awe after his sensational performance. They praised the young star for his phenomenal century.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi made multiple records with his stunning 190-run knock

Following his spectacular 190-run knock, Vaibhav Suryavanshi made multiple records. For starters, he hit 15 sixes, which are the most by an Indian batter in a domestic List-A match.

He reached his hundred off just 36 balls, which is the joint sixth-fastest in List-A cricket. Jake Fraser-McGurk holds the record with a 29-ball ton, followed by AB de Villiers (31), Sakibul Gani (32), Ishan Kishan (33), and Anmolpreet Singh (35). Suryavanshi joined Corey Anderson and Graham Rose (36 balls each) on the list. Therefore, he also became the fourth fastest Indian to achieve this feat.

At the age of 14 years and 272 days, he also became the youngest batter to score a List-A hundred. Further, he became the fastest to reach the 150-mark in List-A cricket. Suryavanshi got to his 150 off just 59 balls, breaking the record which was previously held by De Villiers (64 balls).
