
IndiGo flight status today: Flight cancellations continue to plague IndiGo and show no signs of easing. According to data available on the company’s website as of 10 am, the airline has cancelled 20 flights today. Mumbai is the worst hit, with five flights to different destinations cancelled. This is followed by Delhi, Kolkata and Pune, each with two cancellations. Bengaluru and Kolkata with one each.
“Low visibility and fog over Jammu may impact flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly,” IndiGo said in its travel advisory.
According to data from Flightradar24, around 19 per cent of flights experienced delayed arrivals at Delhi Airport. The airport also recorded an average departure delay of 22 minutes, with 68 per cent of departures running late.

IMD update on visibility
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), visibility at Delhi Airport stood at 1,000 metres at 4 am today, while the temperature at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) was 12 degrees Celsius.
IMD data further shows that visibility on Runway 28 exceeded 2,000 metres. At the midpoint of the runway, visibility was 1,800 metres, while Runway 10 also recorded visibility of more than 2,000 metres. Runway visibility indicates how far pilots can see along the runway during take-offs and landings.
On Tuesday, IndiGo cancelled as many as 50 flights across multiple airports, including but not limited to Mumbai, Delhi, Varanasi, Pune, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Indore, and Patna. At Delhi Airport alone, 10 flights were cancelled, and over 270 were delayed, data from Flightradar24 showed.
