IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet — Cancelled & Delayed Flights List for Delhi, Jaipur, Amritsar, Kolkata & More

At least 10 flights were called off and more than 270 others ran behind schedule at Delhi’s airport on Tuesday as dense fog and poor visibility disrupted operations.

Airport officials said the cancellations included six incoming flights and four departures. Data from flight-tracking platform Flightradar24 showed widespread delays, with outbound flights facing an average wait of about 29 minutes.

In an update posted on X, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said visibility conditions were gradually improving but warned that departures on select routes could still be delayed.

The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), which typically manages around 1,300 flight movements each day, continues to operate under weather-related constraints.

What Airlines said

IndiGo said its operations to certain destinations in North India will be affected by the fog. “Pragyaraj, Ayodhya and Pantnagar continue to remain wrapped in chilly winter air and lingering fog this morning. The fluctuating visibility has led to changes in flight schedules, and operations may be slower than usual as conditions evolve. Our teams on-ground are prioritizing safety and compliance with visibility requirements. Our airport teams are also available to assist should you need support while at the terminal. Once the weather settles, operations will gradually stabilize, and flights will depart as planned,” IndiGo posted on X.

SpiceJet, too, said its operations in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, and Bihar may be impacted due to the fog. “Due to bad weather in Delhi (DEL), Varanasi (VNS), Bagdogra (IXB), Gorakhpur (GOP) and Patna (PAT), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may be affected. Passengers are requested to keep a check on their flight status via http://spicejet.com/#status,”; the airline posted on X.
