Hilton’s luxury & lifestyle hot list 2025: review and 2026 expansion

Hilton closes 2025 with 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels and prepares for a strong expansion year in 2026. New openings across EMEA, APAC and the Americas highlight the group’s focus on purposeful, immersive guest experiences.

Hilton is entering 2026 with solid momentum across its luxury and lifestyle portfolio, following a year marked by record growth and strategic positioning. The company now operates 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels worldwide, with almost 500 additional properties under development. The expansion reflects growing demand for meaningful guest experiences, cultural immersion and multi-generational travel.

Dino Michael, global category head, Luxury Brands & Branded Residential at Hilton, described 2025 as a defining year. “After a remarkable year in 2025, we’re inspired by what’s ahead for Hilton’s luxury portfolio,” he said. “We have an opportunity to anticipate how travelers’ needs are evolving in 2026… Our focus within the luxury brand portfolio at Hilton remains on designing experiences that are elegant, purposeful, and truly unforgettable.”

Expanding luxury footprint across key destinations

Hilton’s 2026 pipeline includes landmark openings for Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, NoMad and Signia by Hilton. These additions broaden the group’s reach into mature and emerging markets, reinforcing its investment in global luxury and lifestyle travel.

The Waldorf Astoria brand will welcome new properties in Morocco, the UK and Malaysia. Highlights include Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, located in the Mohammed VI Tower with 55 rooms, signature dining and a spa; Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch, housed within one of London’s most historic monuments; and Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, the brand’s debut in Malaysia with 272 suites and extensive event facilities.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts continues its expansion with new properties in Greece, Malaysia, Japan and Saudi Arabia. Conrad Athens The Ilisian is scheduled to open in early 2026 with 307 rooms and residences, nine dining outlets and new versions of its signature Galaxy Bar and Byzantino restaurant. Later in the year, Conrad Corfu will launch as Hilton’s first luxury resort in Greece, offering private-pool accommodations, culinary concepts led by Michelin-starred chef Alexandros Tsiotinis and a strong connection to the island’s cultural heritage. Conrad Kuala Lumpur, Conrad Nagoya and Conrad Riyadh Laysen Valley will further strengthen the brand’s presence across Asia and the Middle East.

LXR Hotels & Resorts will introduce The Den Bengaluru, connected to the city’s tech and cultural landscape, and Sandblu Santorini, a 66-key property overlooking the Aegean Sea from Santorini’s eastern slopes. Both openings underline the brand’s boutique-luxury positioning.

NoMad Singapore will mark the lifestyle brand’s Asia-Pacific debut, bringing its curated programming and dining-led approach to Orchard Road.

Signia by Hilton will continue its expansion into major convention and meetings destinations. The brand is set to open Signia by Hilton Tainan, Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort in Florida following a full transformation, and Signia by Hilton Indianapolis, the future tallest hotel in the city with nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space.

Lifestyle growth accelerates with more than 60 openings in 2026

Hilton’s lifestyle segment will see more than 60 new hotels in 2026 across Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection and Tapestry Collection. The growth emphasizes locally rooted experiences and distinctive design.

Jenna Hackett, global category head, Lifestyle Brand Management at Hilton, said the category is well aligned with current traveller expectations. “As we look toward 2026, Hilton’s lifestyle and collection brands are thriving… Every new opening reflects our commitment to creating locally rooted experiences that resonate with guests’ values and celebrate the unique character of each community we serve.”

Canopy by Hilton will debut in Thailand with Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit, while new hotels in Milan and Deer Valley will tap into urban and resort demand. Curio Collection continues its global expansion with openings in San Antonio, Bengaluru, Wuxi, San Sebastian and Eindhoven. Tapestry Collection will grow in destinations including Maui, La Paz and Hoi An, bringing locally inspired hospitality to both established and emerging leisure markets.

Branded residences continue robust growth

Hilton’s branded residential segment continues to expand with 39 operating properties and 40 more in the pipeline. The strong performance includes notable milestones, such as a record-breaking USD 27 million penthouse sale at Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg and the full sell-out of Waldorf Astoria Residences Yas Island on launch day. These results indicate sustained demand for branded living across key global markets.
