
Batting superstar Virat Kohli entered his name in the history books on Wednesday (December 24) by becoming the quickest batter in the world to score 16,000 runs in List A cricket. During Delhi’s Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 opener, which was played against Andhra Pradesh in Bengaluru, Kohli needed one run to join the 16000-run club, and he achieved the objective during his 131-run knock. Kohli has 16,130 runs to his credit in 343 List A matches played so far, but a total of seven batters are ahead of him in the list of batters with more runs in 50-over matches. Here’s a look:
