The Lioness legend faced eviction on Friday (November 28) alongside the likes of TV personality Jack Osbourne, social media star Angry Ginge, rapper Aitch, Spandau Ballet singer Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook, and comedian Ruby Wax.
But sadly, it was the former footballer’s time to leave the Australian jungle after two weeks.
However, at the end of Friday’s episode, viewers were shocked to discover pop star Jess wasn’t waiting to greet Alex at the end of the bridge, as she posed for pictures in front of the many dazzling sparkler cannons.
This has become one of the most notable moments over the years on the ITV show, when a celebrity is voted off the programme and they are reunited with family and friends.
Why was Jess Glynne ‘missing’ from Alex Scott’s I’m a Celeb exit?
Yesterday evening, the Hold My Hand hitmaker celebrated her girlfriend’s efforts with a post on Instagram, telling followers she was “unbelievably proud” of her partner.
“My woman might be out far earlier than she deserved, but I’m so unbelievably proud of her,” she wrote.
“She didn’t get the airtime to show how incredible she really is and trust me, this is only the beginning.”
Explaining why she wasn’t there to meet Alex at the end of the bridge on the other side of the world, Jess shared: “Over the last few weeks, my mum suffered a major stroke and needed urgent brain surgery.
“It’s been a really life-altering time for my family, and I’ve had to stay close to home.

“Alex would always want me to be where I’m needed most. I can’t wait to have her back by my side.”
It comes as earlier in the series, Alex revealed she “never knew happiness” before her relationship with Jess.
The sports star and singer have been together for more than two years but initially kept their relationship private.
Speaking to fellow campmates Ruby and Shona McGarty, Alex explained: “I think before her, I never knew happiness.”
Detailing how they met, she said: “She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse… I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me… (it was) really b***sy and I was like, I like your b***siness, and then the spark was just instant and then yeah… we fell madly in love.”
When Ruby asked if marriage might be on the cards, Alex replied: “I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes!”
