Gaurav Khanna is currently gaining all the appreciation for his stint in Bigg Boss 19. The actor is receiving audience appreciation at one point, but no support from his wife, Akanksha Chamola, has the rumour mill churning.
Days after the backlash for not supporting Gaurav, Akanksha had shared a lovely note for him on the occasion of Karwa Chauth 2025. She shared a collage of their pictures together over the years, and wrote that she misses him today, for a change.
Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola’s love story is nothing short of a fairytale. The two first met during an audition, and for Gaurav, it was love at first sight.
After their first meeting, impressed by Akanksha, Gaurav pretended to be inexperienced in the industry and asked her for tips on bagging roles. Akanksha, who had given him advice, soon realised Gaurav was already an established actor.
This instantly ignited a spark between the two, and they started dating. Soon after being in a relationship, the couple tied the knot on November 24, 2016, in Gaurav’s hometown, Kanpur. Many popular TV stars attended their wedding, including Puja Banerjee, Anuj Sachdeva, and others.
It has been almost a decade since the two tied the knot. The couple has a huge age gap of 9 years. They have always spoken about their age gap openly, and this difference has never come in between them. For them, their personalities perfectly complement each other.
Recently, in Bigg Boss, Gaurav Khanna was seen opening up to Mridul in a heartfelt conversation about starting a family. When asked if he wanted children, Gaurav admitted that he does, but revealed his wife feels differently.
Gaurav explained, “A child is a big responsibility. I work all day, and if my wife also takes up a job, it wouldn’t feel right to leave the child in someone else’s care.” Listening to him, Mridul responded, “Let’s see, maybe after two or three years,” to which Gaurav nodded in agreement.
Akanksha Chamola is a TV actress who began with Swaragini (2015-16) and later appeared in Bhootu (2017-18) and Zee One’s Can You See Me (2022), earning recognition for her natural performances.
