    (KBTX) – Wednesday marks the first day of the early signing period for the 2026 football recruiting class and Texas A&M has signed 28 high school athletes.

    The Aggies’ 2026 class ranks ninth according to 247sports.com, Rivals.com and On3.com and comes in at No. 6 according to ESPN.

    Head coach Mike Elko is scheduled to hold a signing day press conference at 2 p.m.
