Stock Market Holiday This Week: The last trading public holiday for the stock market in 2025 is falling on Thursday, December 25, on the account of Christmas. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed throughout the day. Apart from the marked holiday, exchanges will remain shut down for the usual weekends on December 27 and December 28.
During the public holiday, trading in equities, derivatives, and currencies will be closed.
Multi Commodity Exchange will also remain closed on Christmas throughout the day.
