Top 10 most valuable companies in the world 2025: Global markets have been roiled by trade wars, tariff threats, and economic uncertainty in recent months, yet a handful of tech titans continue to defy gravity.
NVIDIA, under CEO Jensen Huang, became the first company to eclipse $4 trillion in market capitalisation earlier this year, and now creates history by becoming the first-ever to have $5 trillion valuation, overtaking Microsoft and Apple in the process.
Microsoft crossed the same threshold in July 2025. Apple followed on Tuesday and overtook on Friday, cementing its place in the exclusive $4 trillion club after a sharp share-price rally.
The surge was fuelled by the September launch of the iPhone 17 series, which has shattered sales records for the company.
Apple shares are up 25 per cent over the past three months; Microsoft’s have risen a more modest 6 per cent.
Valuations remain volatile, and the race at the top is intense. Alphabet, Meta Platforms, Amazon, and Tesla all lurk close behind.
The list is dominated by U.S. giants, but two non-American heavyweights still crack the top 10: Saudi Aramco ($1.669 trillion) and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC, $1.563 trillion).
