Recently evicted I’m A Celebrity star Vogue Williams has opened up about Martin Kemp’s real reason for not taking part in as many trials as some of his campmates.

After Vogue became the third celebrity to be evicted from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out Of Here! she took to her Instagram account where she answered questions from fans and addressed her mysterious knee injury.

The Irish presenter, 40, took part in a Q&A from the five-star Marriott Hotel in Surfer’s Paradise. Spilling secrets, Vogue said that Martin Kemp was exempt from a selection of Bushtucker trials, despite wanting to take part.

Vogue said on social media: “Martin did want to do the trials, but Martin was exempt from some. And I think everybody wanted to do the trials, which was probably unusual for a year. I think that because Martin is a bit quieter he was kinda happy to let everybody else go ahead. Martin’s sound, such a nice guy. He’s really, really lovely.”

Celebrities can be exempt from trials due to reasons including their medical history and their age, but fans were disappointed not to see Martin more on the show.

During the latest episode, fans shared their opinions on social media after Jack Osbourne took on the latest trail and Martin was nowhere to be seen.

One fan wrote: “Another day another trial Martin isn’t doing”, while another added: “Is Martin wearing the cloak of invisibility or something like”.

During Vogue’s Q&A, she also explained how she had sustained a knee injury in camp after viewers spotted her wearing a bandage. She said: “My knee, it’s so annoying and it’s so stupid and it’s completely my fault.”

She went on to say: “So there is loads of bridges in the jungle where you can cross to different areas. You walk so long in the jungle by the way, you’re like up and down like a yo-yo and I think I’m fitter now than when I went in.”

“So there’s all these bridges and you’re not doing much in there and you’re making up games. So one of the games was let’s try and beat our time to cross the bridge, they’re quite bouncy, so I ran to cross the bridge and I fell and completely busted my knee. It was really painful and a bit gross so the medic came straight away because I was on my way to a trial and he fixed me up and then I went to do the trial.

“It’s just a bit of an annoying cut because it’s really stingy and I hope it doesn’t scar”.’

It comes as Ant and Dec announced that Kelly Brook was the latest to be voted off the show. Kelly follows Alex Scott, Eddie Kadi and Vogue Williams out of the jungle. She said: “What a fabulous group of people. It’s been brilliant but I am so ready to come out.”
