Barcelona wunderkind Lamine Yamal surprised kids at the beach by joining them for a kick-about in Dubai, in what will go down as a lasting memory in the young lot.
The 18-year-old Spanish superstar found some time to enjoy the sands of the beach in Dubai as the Barcelona forward joined a pick-up game.
Yamal netted the insurance goal for Barcelona in the Blaugrana’s La Liga fixture against Villarreal to close out their trip to the Estadio de la Ceramica in riumphant fashion after Raphinha had put the visitors ahead with a first-half strike. The youngster had set one up in the previous game against Guadalajara.
Barcelona sit at the top of the La Liga standings with a 4-point lead over arch-rivals Real Madrid as the Catalan club have 46 points in 18 outings as compared to Madrid’s 42. Atletico Madrid stand third in the Spanish-top-flight with 37 points to their name, followed by Villarreal with 35 but have a couple of games in hand as compared to the top-three.
Barca will resume their title defence with their game against Espanyol in a derby on the 4th of January before hosting Athletic club four days later. Hansi Flick and Co. travel to Sociedad before their UEFA Champions League game at Slavia Prague.
