Breaking News Live December 26: DGCA submits ‘confidential’ report on IndiGo disruptions to aviation ministry

Five people, including two Czech tourists, were killed when a rescue helicopter crashed Wednesday on Mount Kilimanjaro.

The Airbus AS350 B3, operated by Kilimedair, went down near Barafu Camp at an altitude of approximately 15,330 feet while performing a medical evacuation.

Victims were identified as tourists David Plos and Anna Plosova, Zimbabwean pilot Constantine Mazonde, doctor Jimmy Daniel, and guide Innocent Mbaga.

The Tanzania civil aviation authority has launched an inquiry into the cause, focusing on high-altitude aerodynamics and unpredictable weather.
