I’m A Celebrity 2025 hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly shared some big shows news that the cast were not expecting during Tuesday’s episode of the ITV jungle series
There was some unexpected news and a big change to I’m a Celebrity during Tuesday’s show.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly had an announcement for the jungle stars and left them very intrigued. As Ant and Dec headed into camp at the end of episode while still live on air, they revealed a brand new format called Rivals.
The new twist sees a series of one-to-one trials and challenges as stars go head-to-head in pairs. As Ant and Dec delivered the unexpected news, the campmates were shown gasping, with some hiding their face in their hands, clearly nervous.
Dec shared: “We have some big news for you, big news, you are all about to become rivals.” As a chorus of “oohs” was heard, Ant and Dec shared more details, after the public had bene given the chance to vote for the pairs earlier on.
As the hosts left camp, they confirmed everyone would gather at the trial area that day, where the first pairing would be announced. Kelly Brook screamed out, as many of her co-stars looked worried.
It comes after the hosts sparked concern with viewers on Monday after a change to the show. Ant announced that they would not be entering camp that day, while they didn’t confirm why.

He told viewers: “We’re not going into camp today but we will be opening the vote for the trial later in the show.” The programme moved on, and later the hosts revisited the shake-up.
Later, Dec told fans: “We won’t be opening the vote until later. But don’t worry, we will still let you chose a celebrity to torture.” It then wasn’t until the very end of the show that they discussed it again but they still did not explain the change.
As they confirmed the vote for the next trial was now open, they revealed Ruby Wax was exempt on medical grounds. The show then ended with the hosts not going into camp, or explaining why.
While some fans questioned if it was due to the storm that hit camp or maybe the overnight trial we have yet to see, other viewers called the moment “odd”. One fan asked: “Ant & Dec not going into camp today?”
As the episode ended, a second fan said: “Is it just me or was that a bit of an abrupt ending?” A third fan agreed: “It did seem a bit rushed and weird they didn’t go into camp but maybe cause of the storm or the evening trial?”
A further confused fan said: “It was scheduled until 20 past, very odd!” Other fans thought they had the answer though, possibly explaining why they didn’t go into camp.
A fan said: “Maybe it’s to do with the issues they had with the weather earlier?” as another agreed: “I’d say the storm had something to do with it.” Another fan said: “Maybe for something interesting tomorrow.”
