    Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia emphasises the role of agriculture students in nation-building through technology and innovation during the convocation at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University.

    He
    emphasised
    that
    India’s
    dream
    of
    becoming
    a
    developed
    nation
    hinges
    on
    empowering
    agriculture
    with
    digital
    technology
    and
    artificial
    intelligence
    (AI).
    Scindia
    addressed
    these
    points
    during
    the
    11th
    convocation
    of
    Rajmata
    Vijayaraje
    Scindia
    Agricultural
    University.

    Students Encouraged to Innovate for Nation-Building

    A
    total
    of
    543
    students
    received
    degrees
    at
    the
    event,
    including
    257
    undergraduates,
    256
    postgraduates,
    and
    30
    PhD
    candidates.
    Additionally,
    four
    female
    students
    were
    awarded
    gold
    medals
    for
    their
    achievements.
    The
    ceremony
    was
    attended
    by
    notable
    figures
    such
    as
    Madhya
    Pradesh
    Agricultural
    Development
    Minister
    Aidal
    Singh
    Kansana
    and
    Energy
    Minister
    Pradyuman
    Singh
    Tomar.

    Empowering
    Agriculture
    with
    Technology

    Scindia
    highlighted
    that
    under
    Prime
    Minister
    Narendra
    Modi’s
    leadership,
    the
    vision
    for
    a
    developed
    India
    can
    only
    be
    realised
    when
    agriculture
    is
    strengthened
    by
    digital
    technology
    and
    AI.
    He
    encouraged
    the
    graduating
    students
    to
    take
    an
    active
    role
    in
    this
    transformation.
    “The
    graduating
    students
    should
    come
    forward
    in
    this
    direction,” said
    Scindia.

    The
    minister
    also
    pointed
    out
    that
    the
    current
    era
    offers
    unprecedented
    opportunities
    for
    young
    people.
    With
    India
    making
    significant
    strides
    in
    areas
    like
    space
    and
    technology,
    students
    should
    seize
    these
    opportunities
    to
    contribute
    meaningfully
    to
    the
    nation’s
    progress.

    Keys
    to
    Success

    Scindia
    stressed
    the
    importance
    of
    vision,
    collaboration,
    and
    sensitivity
    as
    essential
    components
    for
    success.
    He
    advised
    students
    that
    forming
    effective
    teams
    can
    lead
    to
    better
    outcomes
    in
    any
    endeavour.
    “Vision,
    collaboration
    and
    sensitivity
    were
    key
    to
    success,
    and
    by
    forming
    a
    good
    team,
    they
    can
    accomplish
    any
    task
    better,” he
    noted.

    The
    convocation
    was
    also
    graced
    by
    Dr
    Sanjay
    Kumar,
    Chairman
    of
    the
    Agricultural
    Scientists
    Selection
    Board,
    University
    Vice
    Chancellor
    Prof
    Arvind
    Kumar
    Shukla,
    and
    MLA
    Narendra
    Singh
    Kushwaha.
    These
    dignitaries
    underscored
    the
    significance
    of
    integrating
    technology
    into
    agriculture
    for
    India’s
    development.

    The
    event
    concluded
    with
    a
    call
    to
    action
    for
    students
    to
    leverage
    their
    education
    and
    skills
    in
    advancing
    agricultural
    practices
    through
    technological
    innovations.
    This
    approach
    is
    seen
    as
    vital
    for
    realising
    India’s
    aspirations
    of
    becoming
    a
    developed
    nation.
