A BIZARRE restaurant in Dubai is selling £40 “dinosaur tartare” which is served up on a pulsating plate to make it look like its still breathing.

The swanky eatery prides itself on having the world’s “first AI chef” who is bidding to become the Gordon Ramsay of the artificial realm – by using DNA mapping technology to mimic the taste of extinct reptiles.

Woohoo is the latest vanity project over in the Middle East which is loved by influencers happy to fork out hundreds for the world’s most unique menu.

Each meal has been specially crafted with the help of an AI bot, named as head chef Aiman.

He has been programmed to understand decades worth of recipes and is skilled with the top level of culinary experience.

His greatest skill is the optimisation and balance of flavours, according to the restaurant.

The most bizarre offering is advertised as a dinosaur heart.

It is made up of a mound of Angus tenderloin, Japanese fugu, and a tartare advertised as being made of a prehistoric beast.

And it all arrives on a pulsating rubber plate.

Aiman created the dish using DNA mapping from dinosaurs – despite them all being extinct for tens of millions of years.

The actual ingredients in the raw meat, priced at £43, are not made public.

Other dishes include wagyu skewer steaks and futuristic sushi which comes with a hovering jellyfish model floating above the plate.

For dessert, diners can treat themselves to a cloud-shaped cheesecake or a dish known as origami – a blend of cotton candy and fudge.

The downtown Dubai restaurants food isn’t the only AI-obsessed feature.

Its interior is as bizarre as the food with holograms lighting up the room, the sound of digital waterfalls dripping in the background and a constant stream of vapour filling the diner.

Creating the neon-lit venue cost just under £1million.

Despite the allure of a completely AI restaurant, there are a number of human hands behind the entire operation.

Woohoo’s real head chef Serhat Karanfil oversees all the cooking and is in charge of the final presentation.

He admits he often falls out with the AI chef’s choices and selections for new meals.

There is also the restaurant’s Turkish co-founder Ahmet Oytun Cakir.

He believes that one day AI is going to create better food than humans.

Cakir even has high hopes that AI chef Aiman will one day become “the next Gordon Ramsay“.

Aiman even controls the Woohoo Instagram account – posting cooking tips and videos of the restaurant online.

The restaurant has angered some fellow chefs including Michelin-starred Mohamad Orfali.

He blasted the concept saying “there is no such thing as an AI chef”.

Orfali says food must be made with thoughts, feelings and flair attached to it in order to create the best dishes.
