The 2025 Melon Music Awards, aka South Korea’s biggest year-end K-pop awards show, will be held over this weekend. Hosted by Kakao Entertainment, this year’s MMAs mark the 17th edition of the ceremony.

Set to be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, the 17th MMAs will see presenters like actor Park Eun Bin, singer Yoon Jong Shin and figure skater Cha Jun Hwan take the stage, as per Korea JoongAng Daily. Inevitably, all eyes will be on the big prizes, aka the four Daesang, namely Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
When and where to watch Melon Music Awards 2025?
This year’s Melon Music Awards will go live on Saturday, December 20. The red carpet event will kick off at 4 pm KST (12:30 pm IST), and the main show will begin at 5 pm KST (1:30 pm IST).
International fans can tune into the official YouTube channels of Melon and 1theK for the livestream. In Korea, viewers can rely on Melon and Wavve to watch the show. Japanese audiences, on the other hand, may turn to U-NEXT. Meanwhile, MagentaTV will stream the live event in Germany.
