“We were keen to design these parks carefully in line with our goal of enhancing the quality of life of residents by providing a safe and enjoyable environment for relaxation, social interaction and outdoor activities,” said Eng. Khalifa Abdullah Al Qamzi, Head of the Projects Implementation Section at the Department of Municipalities and Transport.
“We strive for these recreational areas to be vital centres for strengthening community bonds, encouraging communication and consolidating the sense of community belonging,” he added.
The new parks are the latest community spaces to be opened in the capital this year.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport previously revealed the opening of new parks in various areas of the capital including Al Falah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City as part of its efforts to develop integrated residential neighborhoods whose residents enjoy the highest levels of health and living standards in the emirate.
